TO ALL GRADE 8 STUDENTS...

GREETINGS!

Miss me already...hehehe! ...?! Anyways...here are your assignments for the Songkran Holidays...make sure to complete all of it so you can avoid detention & a 20-point deduction...!

LITERATURE

1) Having read pages 460-461 of your text, come up with your own Folk Tale, Fable, Legend , or Myth (make sure it is not the same as your Radio Play!). Instead of simply writing it down, I would like you to do the following...

2) Read and Understand "Coyote Steals the Sun and Moon" (pp462-465) and "Brer Rabbit and Brer Lion (pp466-467) of your text; take notes in your NB; answer page 469, numbers 1-2-3-4 in your NB, and numbers 5-6 on an A4/F12/DS/TNR...!

3) Review your notes on the story "The Little Prince"; then start figuring out which part of the story you intend to perform as a skit and who will be your partner...!

4) Begin planning and preparing for your Book Report Presentation as early as now...!

GRAMMAR & WRITING

1) On an A4/F12/DS/TNR, write your own script on the story you and your group members have agreed to regarding your Radio Play Presentation...!

2) In your NB, list down 5-10 topics of interest you would feel most comfortable talking about during an Impromptu Oral Speaking Session...! (Make sure to practice on all of it during the break since you might be the first one I will be calling when we get back from the Songkran Holidays!)

3) Continue studying and reviewing your Literary Terms and Vocabulary Terms over the break...!

4) Those of you who were responsible enough to get your KVM music recorded on your cassette tapes...start practicing for it already...remember, I am going to be more concerned with your enunciation, pronounciation, and clarity of words...!

5) One BLOG entry which will be posted on Sunday, 16 April 2006, the day before school starts...STAY TUNED FOR IT...!!!

Well...That's All Folks...! Have a GReight and very very safe Songkran Holiday Vacation, everyone! Study well...be good...and God Bless...!

SaWaSdEe Pi MaI KhRaP to you and your entire family...CIAO!!!
