TO ALL GRADE 7C STUDENTS...
Here are your
Chinese New Year break homework/assignments...including your first topic for your blog response section.
- Pick out or choose any inanimate object you have at home---if you do not know what INANIMATE means...go and find out!---then put yourself in that object's place; next, write a five-day journal (any five days during the break!) for the object you chose (WSP)...pretend that you are the object and write a journal from the point of view of that object; you can practically talk about anything you intend to talk about as the object; each journal entry should be no less than 5-7 sentences...!
- On an A4/DS/F12/TNR, rewrite your persuasive paragraph keeping in mind the suggestions your classmates/group mates made and gave for improvement during your discussion in class...!
- In your NB, over the break, I would like you to "try" to write a poem---free verse or rhyming!---about your family, a friend, or yourself; your poem should have at least two stanzas with four lines in each stanza...if you want to have more than this then it's okay...!
- On an A4, make an illustration or a collage (from magazines) illustration that would best fit or is most appropriate for your poem...!
- JOURNAL TOPIC for your first blog homework response portion:
"If you were suddenly granted a wish, just one wish that would surely come true (you cannot wish for more wishes!), what is it that you would wish for and why? You do not have to mention specific names if you don't want to...!"
Have a great break everyone..."Kong Si Fah Chai...Hong Pao Na Lai...?!" Take care all of you and be safe...next posting will be 09 February 2005! CIAO!!!
