TO ALL INCOMING GRADE 8 STUDENTS 2004-2005...

GREETINGS!

I was just in school this afternoon and was surprised to hear that there were some "PEOPLE" who were asking to be moved homeroom since they claimed that other students were being moved homerooms anyway for no reason at all---THIS IS NOT TRUE! Please get your facts straight before you give your opinion.

First of all, the three Homeroom Advisors of Grade 7 last year, Mr. Swanson, Mr. Mills, and Mr. Anderson, were the ones who spent a lot of time working on the Grade 8 sections this year. They made sure that the levels and composition of students in each homeroom class is well-balanced...this is not an easy task! The only reason why some students were moved from one section to another is because the class of 8A CANNOT have ESL students due to schedule conflicts. This means that all ESL students can only be in 8B and 8C. Because of this set-up, some students had to be moved from one homeroom to another due to the fact that THERE WAS A STRONG NEED TO BALANCE THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN EACH HOMEROOM...!

I do hope this SIMPLE explanation clears everything up so that "PEOPLE" will STOP spreading made up stories just because they want things to work for their own benefit. I am easily angered and dismayed by these type of indiviuals. My one advice to all of you this year is that...KNOW WHAT THE FACTS ARE FIRST BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR OWN PERSONAL OPINION...! Thank you...CIAO!!!

Mr. A
